Klay Thompson admits Warriors threw game...sort of

I never whine about rigging in sports. We all know whether it's crooked refs, or players shaving points etc, it happens here and there. Whatever.

But Klay Thompson, after losing to Memphis, (Morant didn't even play) goes, ''we are going to play with a 1005 effort (in game 6) I like our chances.

So he's basically admitting that they threw the game to be able to win in front of their home fans. Not to mention the extra revenue for the owners/NBA Win win situation lol.

It's all good though. Just saying.

Having said that, since that bitch/snake/coward Durant left, I find myself cheering for the Warriors a little bit. It's nice to see them regroup this season and get back in the mix. Curry is a fun player to watch, and even when Durant was there, he was still the man. I don't care if Durant got MVP.

If you watched the game you'd know they didn't give a 100% effort. Combined with the statement after the ugly loss, and it's quite obvious what he's implying. That they didn't give a 100% effort last game. Do you always need everything spelled out for you? Haha.

May not come back to bite either team, but I think Golden State and Phoenix both feel like they can win every game at home so why put in max effort on the road. We will see as, in either case, that is dangerous especially for GST who are much closer in team talent to Memphis than the Suns are to Dallas although the Mavs have the best player.
